Are there any classes listed you don’t want?
Do your students’ class days end at the same time? Remember – 6th grade core classes end at 3 pm while K-5th grade core classes end at 2 pm.
For elementary students, are you in the right section – MW or TTH?

Selecting Courses on RenWeb
This year it is extremely important that you carefully select ALL of the classes you want for the 2019-2020 school year - ALL core classes, electives, study halls and sports. Do not consider previous year's scheduling in your class decisions. Class schedules will be finalized by July 15 based on the recorded course selections at that time. Courses with less than 3 students enrolled by May 31 will be removed from the course selection list.
Texas Health and Safety Code requires children to be screened for vision and hearing by a state certified screener or have a professional exam and provide school with results We are required to provide the state those results yearly. This year we will be screening K, 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and newly enrolled students for 2017-18 academic year regardless of the grade. If your student very recently received these screenings, you are welcome to provide that documentation by the time of the screenings. Testing will be conducted as follows:
Hearing screening will begin Monday,February 19, 2017 until completed.
Vision will begin Monday, February 26, 2017 until completed. It is important that if your child currently wears glasses, he or she will need to have them at school during the testing.
This is only a screening. If your child does not pass the screening, they will be referred to their primary care provider for further testing. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the office at 817-293-1500.
K-2nd: Regular Classes Monday and Tuesday, February 26 and 27, including electives. 3rd-12th Grades: No classes will be held on Monday, February 26 or Tuesday, February 27 to make space for Parent Teacher Conferences. There will be a "study hall" space for grade school children to work on Satellite assignments at the school while parents attend conferences. There will be no childcare. Preschool age children are welcome to attend conferences with parents.
Inclement Weather
In case of poor weather conditions, school administration will email all families regarding school opening delays and closures. As a general rule of thumb, CLPS will follow decisions made by Fort Worth Independent School District. Families are always able to make decisions about driving to and from campus and picking up their children in bad weather.
