The men's team; Joseph Wolfe, William Thom, Grayson Westerfield, Will Okruhlik, and Winston Zink, finished 4th as a team narrowly missing 3rd place. Joseph Wolfe is once again the individual TAPPS 3A State Champion shooting one under par 142 for two days. This is his 3rd straight year to win a TAPPS state championship.
Exceptional play by exceptional students who competed well in skill and in attitude honoring the Lord in all they did. It's a great honor to coach these players. CLPS women's golf team; Julia Leininger, Tierney Leininger, Laney Morgan, and Meranda Swope, walked away with the team state title to the TAPPS 3A State Championship Tuesday April 29 finishing 4 strokes ahead of 2nd place. Julia Leininger is the individual State Champion shooting an impressive 144, even par for two days. This is her second year to win the championship as an individual. Tierney Leininger finished 4th, placing her in the top 10 as an individual All State finalist.
