Neighborhood Needs

Neighborhood needs has been serving food and providing clothing free of charge to 7 zip codes in Southwest Fort Worth since 1995. They currently distribute food 2 times a week and provide a food distribution truck stocked with over 17,000 pounds of food on the second Saturday of every month. In addition, we are supporting our local schools and apartments that are across from our facility with additional food and clothing to the children/students.  Our volunteer opportunities are Tuesday and Saturday from 8:00am-11:30am for distribution and Monday, Wednesday and Friday for stocking and sorting from 8:00am-11:30am.

They are located at (6717 S Hulen Street) the corner of Altamesa and Hulen Street in Altamesa Church of Christ’s parking lot.

Trail Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation

Mueller house has setup an ongoing community service opportunity with Trail Lake Nursing and Rehabilitation. They will be on Wednesdays from 4-5 pm.  These are open to any student, not just Mueller house. Please sign up because there is a limit to the number of students who can go each time.  The upcoming dates are: TBD Due to COVID
