Where Do I Begin?

We are so excited you are joining the CLPS team. We hope to provide you with all the tools you will need to be successful at CLPS. Mark your calendars for the events below and then begin working through the other items including technology tutorials.

Technology General Information

  • CLPS Mail Access (go to mail.google.com and log in with the details sent in Welcome Email)
  • Google Drive Access (once signed in to google, you will be able to access Google Drive. Look under the "Shared with Me" folder for your class folders and other applicable folders. Please DO NOT DELETE anything in these folders as they are shared with different sets of people and you may delete it for everyone. 
  • Website access (to password protected teacher pages) go to www.clpsfamily.com and find "Teachers" in the menu. You will be directed to log in using your clps.info email address (link to set up account is in Welcome Email).
  • FACTS Access: Go to FACTS and login with district code "CLPS-TX". Login information sent to you in Welcome Email. 
This is the main page for teachers to access links to all the important documents and forms they may need throughout the school year.

CLPS New Teacher Forms

Teachers need to fill out these two forms for us to introduce you to the CLPS family and include you on our Teacher's Favorites page. 

CLPS Safety/Security Trainings

All employees and volunteers must go through CPR/First Aid, MinistrySafe, and a Background Check every two years. 

Complete CPR/First Aid Training

Your Access code was sent in the Welcome Email

If you currently hold a CPR Certification from the last two years, you may submit that verification to the front office instead of taking this online course. 

Complete Ministry Safe Training 

MinistrySafe was created by legal professionals who are sexual abuse experts. After decades of litigating sexual abuse cases, Gregory Love and Kimberlee Norris founded MinistrySafe to help ministries meet legal standards of care and reduce the risk of sexual abuse by creating preventative measures tailored to fit the needs of churches, camps and ministry programs. -Ministry Safe Website

You will receive an email through the Ministry Safe Website when you have been registered for the course. 

If you already hold a Ministry Safe Certification from the last two years from your church or other ministry organization, you must contact that organization and have them send your verification to the Front Office Manager, Tara Hobbs at [email protected].

Technology Tutorials

Before we meet for New Teacher Training, it will be essential that you take some time to work through our technology tutorials. If you have experience with these platforms, it is okay to skip those for later. However, in the video tutorials there are many helpful hints and policies mentioned that will be very useful to you. Your department head is prepared to help you every step of the way at our New Teacher Training in August. If you need help before that time, please contact your department lead.
