A key to a successful school year is making the most of Parent Orientation! These sessions are specially designed to prepare you for your satellite (at home) days and to establish relationship and communication with your central (at CLPS) classroom teacher.
Only one parent from each family needs to attend the week of orientation but both parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. It is always best for the parent to attend who is most responsible for the satellite classroom. These sessions are intended for ALL (New & Returning) Kindergarten through 5th grade families.
All lower school General Sessions, Satellite Day Organization Sessions, and Parent Modules are repeat sessions. In other words, parents only need to attend once. If there are multiple sessions offered at one time, more information will be provided to help you decide which session to attend.
If you have children ages 12 and under register for Free Parent Training Childcare HERE Additional details about childcare can be found in the childcare form.

PARENT MODULE PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
At the heart of every school rests a philosophy of education, which provides clarity and direction on fundamental questions such as the nature and purpose of education as well as the relationship of parents and the school in the education process. As such, the philosophy of education is a foundational statement for a school that is important for all community members - administrators, teachers, and parents alike to understand and embrace in the daily life of the community.
The Parent Module sessions are repeatsessions and will cover the same content throughout the week. Please choose which session works best for you and RSVP for ONE of the sessions during the week. RSVP HERE
