To allow students with accommodations a place for individual testing
To allow students with accommodations extended test time that cannot be scheduled during Study Hall MWF
To allow for make-up exams that cannot be scheduled during Study Hall MWF
Coordinator Responsibilities
Review Google Calendar 1-2 weeks in advance for scheduled summative tests (Grades 7-12)
Schedule exam as close to original test date as possible (Make-Up Exams will be scheduled in Study Hall if possible. All other exams will be scheduled on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday.)
Confirm testing accommodations with teacher and/or parent
Contact parent/student to schedule individual testing
Contact parent/student to schedule make-up exams
Copy teacher on all communication with students/families to ensure teacher is aware of testing arrangements
Teacher Responsibilities
Notify coordinator when student (no accommodations) needs to take a make-up exam and does not have a Study Hall
Complete Test Proctor Form or Make Up Test Form, including notes, and attach to test
Put copies of exam, including resources, in Learning Lab (accommodations) or Make Up Test (no accommodations) folderin front office prior to scheduled date
Study Hall Monitor Responsibilities
Check Make Up Test folder each period for new tests added by teachers
Read Make Up Test Form carefully with attention to Resources Allowed/Not Allowed
Seat testing student next to Study Hall Monitor
Only adult support staff should take test to/from Study Hall to Front Office
After student completes exam, place exam in the Teacher’s folder for grading
Individual Test Proctor Responsibilities
Review student’s test accommodations
Pick up test from Learning Lab folder
Read Test Proctor Form carefully with attention to Resources Allowed/Not Allowed
Meet student in front office and move to assigned location
After student completes exam, place exam in the Teacher’s folder for grading
Notify coordinator if student needs extra time to complete the exam
