Senior Capstone Schedule

The Senior Capstone is more than a trip.  It represents an integral part of the educational experience of a CLPS student in fulfillment of our Profile of a Graduate - Christ-centered relationships, Effective Communicators, and Critical Thinkers.  The Senior Capstone offers our seniors a unique and unifying cultural, social, and intellectual experience of the arts, history, nature, and science.

6:00 am:  Meet at CLPS Parking lot
6:15 am:  Depart for Airport
7:15 am:  Arrive at Airport
8:50 am:  Flight Departs (Bring lunch snacks on flight)
1:32:  Flight Arrives
2:30 pm:  Check-in to Lodging
3:30 pm:  Hop on Hoff bus tour
5:30 pm:  Tour ends at North End
6:00 pm:  Dinner at the North End (make reservation)

Tuesday, April 2nd
7:30 am:  Breakfast
9:00 am:  Visit Harvard Square
11:00 am:  Lunch and Boston Commons
10:00 am:  Whale Watching
1:30 pm:  Tour of the Freedom Trail, Boston Commons, etc.  (Ends at Ferrin Hall)
4:00 pm:  Dinner at Legal Seafood
7:00 pm:  Riverdance
Wednesday, April 3rd
7:30 am:  Breakfast
10:00 am:  Boston Tea Party Museum (Ends at 11:15 am) followed by lunch
12:00 pm:  Lunch (Need to verify if we can store luggage until later).
1:00 pm:  Shop around the Boston Commons
3:00 pm:  Depart for Kennebunkport
5:00 pm:  Dinner on the road
6:00 pm:  Check-in to Lodging
Thursday, April 4th
7:30 am:  Breakfast
9:00 am:  Visit the Beach, etc.
11:30 am:  Eat at Bill's
1:00 pm:  Visit Two Lights State Park, Portland Museum of Art, etc.
4:00 pm:  Dinner
5:00 pm:  Portland Head Light at sunset and return home

 Friday, April 5th
7:30 am:  Breakfast
9:00 am:  Relax in Kennebunkport (Nature reserve, visit the town, etc.)
12:00 pm:  Lunch at Bill's
1:00 pm:  Basketball, shop for cook-off, etc.
5:00 pm:  Eat at restaurant upstairs on the square (make reservation)
7:00 pm:  Cook-off

Saturday, April 6th
7:30 am:  Breakfast
8:00 am:  Depart for Salem, MA
9:00 am:  Visit witch trial cemetery
10:00 am:  House of Seven Gables (ends at 11:00 am)
11:15 am:  Pick-up pizza ??? and depart for airport
12:00 pm:  Arrive at airport  
2:22 pm:  Depart for DFW
5:52 pm:  Arrive at DFW
7:00 pm:  ​Pick-up will be at CLPS parking lot.
